Letter for supporting the application of NOAH

Taiwan Friends of the Global Greens supports the application of NOAH, the Danish member of the international Friends of the Earth network, submitted on the 30th of June 2008 for the global warming event on R?dhuspladsen in Copenhagen on the 5th of December 2009 in conjunction with the COP15.

Taiwan Friends of the Global Greens is an ally of the Campaign against Climate Change that has been organizing the biggest demonstrations calling for urgent action on climate change, in the world since 2005. This Campaign has organized a Global Day of Action on climate at the time of the annual UNFCC talks since 2005. There are events in 80+ countries last year including national events that have mobilized up to 10,000 people in Taiwan in 2007. We are also part of the Global Greens Network. The Global Green Network (GGN) is a network of representatives of national Green Parties from around the planet. The GGN was established in April 2001 at the Global Green Gathering in Canberra, Australia. It was created simultaneously with the Global Green Coordination (GGC). The document constituting both entities was adopted unanimously by the Global Assembly there. Our priority is to show the broadest possible support for urgent and effective action at the highest international level to deal with the climate crisis and we feel this event will be of the greatest importance in demonstrating this.
